Marchmont Win the Indoor Sixes for the 4th Time

In the first semi-final the Schools Academy batted first and posted what looked to be a competitive 100 for 4.  However, Boroughmuir passed this comfortably off only 8 overs and for the loss of only one wicket.

In the second semi-final Marchmont batted first and struggled to score against tight Musselburgh bowling managing only 74 all out in the last over.  However, Musselburgh collapsed losing 3 wickets in the second over before being all out for only 22 from just 2.5 overs.

FINAL MARCHMONT v BOROUGHMUIR

Marchmont won the toss and asked Boroughmuir to bat.  After a bright start scoring 45 off the first 4 overs, tight bowling, with only 3 extras conceded, restricted Boroughmuir to 70 all out in the last over.

In reply Marchmont kept the total ticking over and, despite losing 3 wickets, reached their total from the first ball of the final over.
